Call for Action! Support the Library Book Rate!

The private members’ bill (C-509) put forward by MP Merv Tweed (Brandon-Souris) in support of the Library Book Rate is scheduled for second reading in the House of Commons on May 28.

We need your help to contact all MPs to ensure their support for this bill. Please use this draft letter to contact your MP before May 28.

This is our greatest opportunity to ensure that the Book Rate will be maintained and expanded for the benefit of libraries and library users across Canada.
