How do I book my hotel room?

CLA has a block of rooms at the Delta Winnipeg.

This hotel is located in the heart of downtown and conveniently connected by skywalk to the Winnipeg Convention Centre. Complimentary Wifi is offered in every guest room as well as the lobby area.

Rates are as follows:

  • Delta Room – $130 plus taxes
  • Delta Premier – $150 plus taxes
  • Delta Deluxe – $165 plus taxes
  • Signature Club – $190 plus taxes

You will be required to provide a one-night non-refundable deposit on a credit card at the time of booking.

How much does it cost to attend the CLA 2013 National Conference and Trade Show?

Until April 15, CLA is offering an early bird registration rate:

  • $850 for the full conference. (CLA Member price is $550)

There are separate rates (regular and CLA member) for students, retirees, and first-time attendees.

What pre-conference workshops will be offered?

How much does it cost to attend a pre-conference workshop?

There is no cost to attend the following pre-conference sessions:

  • Advocacy Boot Camp
  • Evolving Partnerships: Connecting Our Libraries, Collections and Vendors
  • OCLC Canada’s Symposium on Linked Data and Innovation in Canadian Libraries

The cost to attend the 2-day Cataloguing with RDA workshop is:

  • Regular: $270
  • CLA Members: $225

What tours will be offered?

Each tour will be offered twice – once in the morning and again in the afternoon.

What discounts are available for CLA Members?

CLA Members receive reduced registration rates for the conference and for pre-conferences.
